Privacy notice
Version 2, October 2026. This covers the Philot website: the "coming soon" sign-up box and the driver sign-up form.
Who we are
Philot Limited, company number 16733845. Registered office: Rear Office 1st Floor, Imperial Chambers, 10-17 Se, Woodford Avenue, Ilford, England, IG2 6JX. To contact us about your information, write to us at that address.
Sign-ups for launch news
What we collect
- Your email address, if you type it into the sign-up box.
- What you were interested in when you signed up (launch news, early booking, driving with Philot, or the investor overview).
- The date and time you signed up.
We do not use cookies on this site and we do not track you across other sites.
Why we collect it
To email you about Philot's launch and the thing you asked about. We rely on your consent, which you give by signing up. You can withdraw it at any time.
Driver sign-ups
What we collect
If you fill in the "Drive with Philot" form we collect:
- Your full name, mobile number, email address and home postcode.
- Your vehicle type, whether you'd take long runs, and how many days a week you'd like to work.
- Your yes/no answers on the right to work in the UK, holding a full UK driving licence, hire and reward insurance and goods-in-transit cover.
- How you heard about Philot, that you agreed to this notice, and the date and time you signed up.
We don't ask for documents, photos or ID on this form. If you go on to join Philot, we'll check those in the driver app and tell you then how they're handled.
Why we collect it
To contact you about driving with Philot, to see whether you're likely to be able to work with us when we launch (for example, the right to work in the UK and the right insurance), and to plan how many drivers we need in each area. We use it because you asked to be considered as a driver (steps taken at your request before any agreement), and because we have a legitimate interest in planning our launch. Your answers are what you tell us; we don't check them at this stage.
How long we keep it
Until Philot launches and for 12 months afterwards. If you join Philot as a driver, your details move into your driver account and the driver privacy notice in the app applies from then. If you don't join, we delete your sign-up within 12 months of launch. You can ask us to delete it at any time before then.
Where it is kept and who sees it
- Your details are kept on our website hosting (Hostinger). A copy of each sign-up is emailed to the inbox we use for Philot enquiries. Until Philot has its own email address, that inbox belongs to Sibco Transport Ltd, a transport company run by the same founder; Sibco does not use your details for anything of its own.
- We do not sell your details or share them for anyone else's marketing.
- To stop abuse of the form we keep a short-lived scrambled mark of the connection used, for about an hour. It cannot be turned back into an address.
- This page loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so Google sees the request your browser makes for them.
How long we keep launch sign-ups
Until Philot launches and for 12 months afterwards, or until you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first.
Your rights
How to ask us to delete your details
Write to us at the address under "Who we are", with your name and the mobile number or email address you signed up with, and say you'd like your details deleted. We'll delete them and confirm within one month. You can also ask us to show you or correct your details, or to stop contacting you. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
